Maryland State Bar Requirement to Maintain and Preserve Client Files
Lawyers are required to keep client files according to the Maryland Attorney’s Rules of Professional Conduct, specifically Rules 19-301.15 and 19-301.16. All client and potential client data will be stored for a minimum of five years, consistent with these legal requirements and ABA Model Rule 1.15.. If five years have passed since termination of representation of the client or consultation, no originals are in the files, and Pitti Law, LLC has offered to return the file to the client but has received no response from the client, the Pitti Law, LLC may dispose of the files, consistent with Maryland Maryland State Bar Association, Committee on Ethics, Ethics Docket 2005-01.

We provide this information to Zoom, our online scheduling service provider, so that they can provide online booking services to us. Zoom scheduling includes optional SMS reminders. These reminders are opt-in and you are not required to use them if you do not want to.
